Current situation

The Dormant Accounts Fund is not currently open for applications.  The closure of the initial round of Dormant Accounts Funding was Friday 5^th of March 2004.

Timescale for Decision Making

The appraisal of applications made prior to 5^th March is on-going.  Each category of application (A, B, C) is being dealt with en bloc.  All applications should be appraised by the end of January 2005, with decisions from the Disbursements Board to follow shortly after.  Applicants will be notified of the outcome in writing in due course.

So far, The Dormant Accounts Disbursements Board has announced almost 30 million in funding towards programmes and projects that assist the most disadvantaged.

Future Programmes

Details have not yet been made available for future rounds of funding.  Any further rounds will be widely publicised and details will be made available on this website and on www.dormantaccounts.ie
